Considering therapy?

Welcome.

I'm Sam Devlin, a BACP-registered psychodynamic therapist working with adults in Worthing and online across the UK. I offer weekly therapy from a calm, private garden room in Worthing, or via secure video wherever you are.

About my approach

Psychodynamic therapy works by exploring how your past experiences, early relationships, and unconscious patterns shape the way you feel and behave today. It is not about giving advice or quick fixes. It is about creating the conditions for real self-understanding, which is where lasting change comes from.

I work with people navigating anxiety, low self-worth, relationship difficulties, grief, life transitions, and trauma. Some clients come with a specific difficulty they want to work through. Others arrive with a vaguer sense that something is not right, or that the same patterns keep repeating without knowing why. Both are valid starting points.

Therapy with me is collaborative and unhurried. I will not push you faster than feels right, and there is no expectation that you arrive knowing what you need to say.

Neurodiversity

I am a neurodiverse-affirming therapist. I welcome clients of all neurotypes and aim to adapt the way I work to suit how you think, communicate, and process. If you are autistic, ADHD, or otherwise neurodivergent, you do not need to mask or explain yourself here.
